SRINAGAR, Oct 27 (1988): At least 18 people were injured on Thursday as a wave of bombings and shootings rocked Srinagar, police and witnesses said. The violence came as anti-Indian activists called a general strike in protest at the anniversary of Kashmir's accession to India following independence in 1947.
