SRINAGAR, July 13 (1989): Masked men believed to be separatist militants opened fire in the crowded old quarter of Srinagar on Thursday killing four people, including three policemen, police said. The attackers burst onto a street as shops were being decorated for the Moslem festival of Eid-al-Adha. Four civilians and three policemen were wounded. Militants have frequently attacked police in the past three months.
