    SRINAGAR, Sept 28 (1989): Police have captured a Kashmiri separatist leader, Shabir Ahmed Shah, whose People's League is fighting to wrench the Kashmir region out of the Indian union, officials said on Thursday. Shabir Shah was arrested on Wednesday night with two other separatists while driving between Jammu and Srinagar. Police said the capture of Shah was a major breakthrough in their battle against gunmen fighting to overturn Kashmir's accession to India.
