    Over 500 Pak soldiers killed in exchange of fire along LoC

    NEW DELHI, Aug 25 (2000):Over 500 Pakistani soldiers are reported to have been killed or wounded in exchange of fire on the Line of Control (LoC) between January and June this year, Indian parliament was informed. On the Indian side, 47 Army personnel were killed during the period, Defence Minister George Fernandes said in a written answer.
