Malik released, pledges to take Qazi Nisar’s ‘mission forward’

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chief, Muhammad Yasin Malik, was released from Central Jail Srinagar on Monday.

He paid tributes to late Qazi Nisar on his death anniversary which is being observed today.

Terming Nisar as a “great scholar, religious, political and social leader”, JKLF chief said, “his struggle and sacrifices cannot be overlooked by any one and today we all express our gratitude and love to his noble soul.”

“Personalities like Mirwaiz Qazi Nisar are actually symbols of resistance and today when we remember this great soul, we recall his sacrifices, valor and passion to fight for freedom and stand against fascism and oppression,” Malik said.

Malik reiterated his “pledge to take the mission of these martyrs to its desired goal”.

Malik was arrested by police on 16 June and sent to Srinagar central jail on three days judicial remand.

He was released now on bail today.
