Srinagar: The police on Wednesday said that no Amarnath Yatri vehicles will be allowed to cross the Jawahar tunnel after 3.30 p.m. to ensure safe movement of Yatris.
“This decision has been taken in consultation with civil administration and all the security agencies connected with the yatra,” police statement said.The annual Amarnath Yatra is scheduled to start June 29th.
“No yatra vehicle shall be permitted to cross the tunnel after the cut-off time. Yatris are requested to adhere the advisory strictly and cooperate with the traffic police and security agencies,” the police advisory to yatris concluded.
