Everyone should openly support people of Yemen, Bahrain & Kashmir: Ayatollah Khamenei

On the Islamic holy day of Eid-al-Fitr, marking the end of Ramzan, the month of fasting, Iran’s Imam Khamenei, said that people should come out openly in showing their support for Yemen, Bahrain and Kashmir, as per the official website.

The website that carries the message however does not mention Syria, and other places where conflict is raging.

Eid al-Fitr prayers were held in many countries, after the sighting of the moon, this morning, Monday. Thousands of believers in Tehran performed with Khamenei, in the mosque of Imam Khomeini.

Addressing the people, Khamenei said,”What you earned during this month, is your hoard. To prolong the spiritual mood of this month, recite the Quran on a regular basis.”

Khamenei praised the Muslim nation Iran, for the great participation in the Al-Quds day rally, saying that the Quds Day parades were “another magnificent display and the powerful attack against the enemies was yet another great accomplishment.”

Khamenie asked the people to “Fire at will”. Explaining the term he said that it means that throughout the country (Iran), those who possess abilities to think and create, should do the work themselves. They should identify the cultural shortcomings.

“Fire at will does not call for anarchy, it does not mean giving opportunities to those making thoughtless claimants against the country’s revolutionary movement,” he said.

In Kashmir, processions after Eid prayers resulted in clashes with the Indian armed forces, who fired tear gas shells at the people gathered for prayers. In Sopore town at least fifteen protesters were injured in clashes with the armed forces.
