Srinagar: An online news portal One India on Wednesday said that the Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has received a terror threat.
“The Intelligence Bureau reported that a threat had been received by Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday. An analysis of the threat suggests that the same was issued by Zakir Musa who had recently fallen out with the Hizbul Mujahideen. A security review would be undertaken in the wake of this threat being issued,” the report said.
Reportedly, Zakir Musa, the former Hizbul Mujahideen militant from Jammu and Kashmir had earlier warned of consequences if girls are forced to take part in Independence Day celebrations.
“The principle is threatening the girls of issuing them discharge certificates if they don’t participate in the parade where they have to exhibit their bodies,” Musa said in a 4.8 minute unverified video clip, according to One India.
“Instead forcing our sisters to participate in August 15 celebrations, the principle should take her daughters there,” he said.
“After Abu Dujana got martyred, the Indian media defamed him [saying] that he was harassing the Kashmiri girls and their parents that are totally baseless allegations. Everyone knows how the Mujahideen are fighting here and people should not believe what the Indian media says,” he said.
