Shops and other business establishments remained shut in Maisuma, Gawkadal, Basant Bagh, Kokar Bazar, Budshah Chowk while Auqaf market too remained shut.

The protesters while chanting anti-government slogans marched from Nowpora to Gulshan Chowk.
