Bihar court orders an FIR against Abdullah on charges of treason

Srinagar: A court in Bihar has ordered a First Information Report (FIR) to be filed against former chief minister Farooq Abdullah on charges on treason.

The court issued the orders after a lawyer approached them regarding Abdullah’s remarks on Pakistan Administered Kashmir.

The member of parliament form Srinagar had recently said that Pakistan Administered Kashmir belongs to Pakistan and Indian Administered Kashmir belongs to India. Abdullah had also added that PaK cannot be won back by war.

Abdullah had also said that an independent Kashmir is not an option as the valley is surrounded by India, China and Pakistan and all of them have atom bombs.

However, India claims that PaK belongs to India as “it was invaded by Pakistan in 1947.”
