JKLF holds march in solidarity with political prisoners of Kashmir

Srinagar: A solidarity march was taken out the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front against the state of political prisoners lodged in various jails in and outside the state.

Several JKLF leaders and activists staged a march in Maisuma area of Srinagar after Friday prayers to express solidarity with Hurriyat leaders and activists lodged in various jails.

“We took out this march on the call of Joint Resistance Leadership to express solidarity with Hurriyat leaders and activists, including men, women and children, lodged in jails from Tihar to Srinagar,” said Noor Muhammad Kalwal, Zonal President of JKLF.

The JKLF activists also said that the march was also against the search operations launched by forces especially in the South Kashmir districts.

“We understand that the crackdown launched in the name of ‘Operation all-out’ by forces in the Valley is a planned ploy to carry out massacre of Kashmiri youth,” he said.
