JAMMU: Blaming Power Development Department (PDD) for further worsening financial health of Jammu and Kashmir, government auditor CAG today said revenue deficit in the power sector touched Rs 1,993 crore in 2011-12. JAMMU: Fruit exports from Jammu and Kashmir registered a turnover of Rs. 4,200 crore in the financial year 2012-13, state Agriculture Minister Ghulam Hassan Mir said Friday. SRINAGAR: Oil marketing companies on Friday decided to slash petrol prices by Rs 2 per litre, effective from midnight. In Kashmir petrol at present costs Rs 76.10 per litre. On March 1, petrol prices were hiked by Rs 1.40/lt. Fuel prices were last revised on Feb 16 when the rate of petrol was increased by Rs 1.5 per litre and diesel by 45 paise per litre.
