SRINAGAR, June 3:Religious scholars and politicians gathered in Kashmir to commemorate the 23rd passing anniversary of the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Rouhollah Khomeini.
The gathering in Kashmir was arranged by Iran’s ambassador to India Sayed Mehdi Nabizadeh. Scholars discussed the life and activities of Imam Khomeini, his ideas about the world affairs and politics.

Many Muslims in Kashmir also commemorated the life and lessons of the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran. People’s emotion here showed that Imam Khomeini’s inspiration extended beyond Iran and to all Muslims around the world.

The preachings of the great leader continue to show their impacts on the world affairs and among his greatest preachings, the need of the moment is to stand united against all tyrants and oppressors.
