Shell goes off killing Kashmir teeanger

SRINAGAR, Apr 15: A teenaged boy was killed in an explosion in Tangdhar area near the Line of Control in Kuwpara district of Jammu and Kashmir today, police said.

Fourteen-year-old Ikhlaq Ahmad Lone died instantly when a shell exploded while he was working in his farm in Hajinar village in Tangdhar area, 148-km from, here, they said.
Many people have died in areas close to the LoC due to explosion of shells left over during cross-border shelling before India and Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire in November 2003.
