Crushing of minor girl: Army has no accountability, say Hurriyat

Srinagar: All Parties Hurriyat Conference on Thursday strongly condemning the crushing of a minor student girl by an army vehicle at Zainapora, Shopian and said that forces are not accountable for anything and are continuing their killing spree in Kashmir.

In a statement an APHC spokesman said when people protested that was responded with bullets and pellets.

“What was more horrible that when the people of area started protesting against the incident, government forces resorted to indiscriminate use of force including pellets, bullets, and stun grenades which left more than 30 people including women injured.”

The spokesman said innocent Kashmiris including kids are being crushed to death and people are not even allowed to mourn or to protest, instead those raising their voice against injustice, are showered with pellets and bullets.

The spokesman also condemned the arrest spree of youth in Islamabad, Pulwama, Shopian and Kulgam where dozens of youth are detained every day.

“People of South Kashmir districts are being subjected to worst form of suppression, which is extremely condemnable.”
