PaK suspends LoC trade for a week

Srinagar: The Cross LoC trade which happens along the Srinagar-Muzaffarabad route was suspended by the authorities of the Pakistna Administered Kashmir (PaK).

According to reports, the authorities in PaK have sent a letter to authorities on this side of the LoC saying the trade will remain suspended for this week.

No reasons were given for suspending the trade, which takes place from Tuesday to Friday every week between the traders of Jammu and Kashmir and PaK.

The decision to suspend the trade comes days after Mohammad Yoususf Shah, a driver from Chakoti was arrested following recovery of 66.5 kilograms of heroin and brown sugar, worth over Rs 300 crore, from his vehicle.
