Ready to tackle any challenge: DG CRPF to Zakir Musa’s purported threat

Srinagar: Reacting to the recent purported audio clip of militant Zakir Musa threatening August 15 events, DG CRPF on Thursday said that they are ready to “tackle any challenge” that comes their way.

Paramilitary CRPF Thursday said that they were “ready to handle every challenge”.

Director General CRPF RR Bhatnagar, on the sidelines of function at Baramulla on Thursday, said there will “hardly be any effect” of such audio clips in the valley.

“This is handiwork of miscreants who always are trying to affect peaceful life in Valley,” he said.

In the purported audio clip, Zakir has threatened parents, and teaching staff for allowing students to participating in August 15 events.

The DGP added that anti-militant operations will be continue in Valley and that the forces are “ready for every opportunity.”

“We are getting success in anti-militant operations with the help of Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police,” he said.
