Three CRPF men wounded in a grenade attack in Magam, LeT takes responsibility

Srinagar: Four Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troopers and a policeman were wounded in a grenade attack in Magam area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

News agency GNS reported that militants lobbed a grenade at a CRPF party in Magam area today afternoon.

Three CRPF troopers and a policeman wounded in the attack were shifted to a hospital for treatment.

Lashkar-e-Toiba militant outfit on Monday claimed the responsibility of a grenade attack on government forces in Magam area of Budgam district.

Three CRPF men and a policeman were wounded in the attack earlier today.

In a statement issued to GNS news agency, Lashkar-e-Toiba spokesman Abdullah Ghaznavi congratulated the militants for carrying out the attack despite stringent security arrangements and warned of similar attacks.
