Srinagar: Two youth were found dead in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Tuesday.
Both the youth – reportedly residents of Rajouri district in Jammu – were found dead in an orchard in Palpora-Mimendar area.
SSP Shopian, while speaking to the FreePressKashmir, said, “we were informed by the locals about the presence of the bodies in an orchard.
On being asked the reason of death, he said that “No injuries were found on the bodies. The reason of death can only be ascertained after a post-mortem procedure.”
The bodies have been identified as Umar Suhail s/o Asif Iqbal, Mohammaed Athar s/o Abdul Razaak, SSP Shopian added.
Reports said that some cigarettes and powder were recovered from their pockets.
