Srinagar: Jaish-e-Mohammad chief Khalid was killed in a brief encounter in the Ladoora area of Baramulla district of the valley.
He was an A++ category militant according to the police and was involved in various killings in the Northern part of the Valley.
Reports said that Khalid fired at a police party which was there to nab militants after getting inputs of militant movement in the area.
