Srinagar: Senior PDP leader and Minister for Information, Food & Civil Supplies Chowdhry Zulfikar Ali has withdrawn his statement on the resignation of senior party leader Vikramadatiya Singh both from the party and the legislative council issued by him on Sunday evening.
“I issued the statement on the resignation of Vikramadatiya Singh by mistake and I withdraw the statement forthwith,” Zufikar told KNS.
He had earlier that Singh had become a liability for the party and it is good that he has resigned.
“Though Vikramaditya was a political non entity but PDP had given him an opportunity to serve the people of Jammu region but he failed to deliver on ground. We are happy that he has resigned. He had become a liability for the party and can’t win even a panchayat election”.
