Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti was on Saturday re-elected as the president of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the sixth term in a row.
The election for the post of the PDP president was held on Saturday where she was elected unopposed.

Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference working president, Omar Abdullah also congratulated the incumbent Chief Minister on being re-elected as President of ruling coalition partner People Democratic Party.
Omar tweeted that although the two do not agree mch these days, but “I wish you well.

Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party youth president Waheed-ur-Rehman Parra congratulated chief minister Mehbooba Mufti for being re-elected as the party president.
Parra said that under the able leadership of Mehbooba Mufti, the party has seen an exponential rise, and has become a force to reckon with.
