Probe in Kupwara killing an eyewash, says Shia Hurriyat leader Agha Hassan

Terms the killing as “inhuman, most condemnable”

Budgam: Senior resistance leader and president Anjuman Shari Shian has condemned the brutal killing of Kupwara Sumo driver Asif Iqbal in Army firing.

“Army and police have intensified their indiscriminate firing operations in civilian areas as result of which the “population of these areas face threat to their lives, hounour and property,” he said and added that such actions of forces is a routine matter in Kashmir.

Terming the killing as “inhuman and most condemnable” he said “trigger happy forces are working under a well designed policy to kill Kashmiris since they arrived against the will of people in Kashmir.”

“Under the grab of special powers, they are licenced by their political bosses in New Delhi use each and every repressive measure to make people of Jammu Kashmir to surrender. But people have been resisting such repression and oppression since last more than seven decades with determination and uncompromising will,” he said.

Agha Hassan said that the probe ordered into the killing is an eyewash and it will bear no fruits.

Agha Hassan condemned the attack on Church in Quetta Pakistan. He said attacking religious places are acts of naked terrorism.

He also congratulated the teaching staff for their better performance and distributed awards among students of Hauza Almia at Hari Nara among successful students.
