Two security guards killed as Daesh attack intelligence training centre in Kabul

The Daesh attack on a training center of the NDS in Afshar area of PD5 capital Kabul on Monday ended after six hours of clashes with security forces, security officials said.

According to the NDS, there were three attackers and they used an under-construction building to for targeting the center. All three attackers were gunned downed.

Kabul based TOLO News reported that the accident occurred around 10:00 am the local time when the three Daesh attackers with a vehicle full of explosives targeted the center.

Eyewitnesses said the attackers were equipped with heavy and light weapons.

Two policemen were wounded in the attack, Kabul police confirmed.

“The attackers had a car (white Corolla) full of explosives. The car was exploded by the special forces,” said Mohammad Sadiq Muradi, deputy head of security affairs at the Kabul Police Headquarters.

Daesh claimed responsibility for the attack.
