Committed to develop Ladakh as most sought-after destination, says Dy CM

Jammu: Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh has said that government is committed to ensure holistic development of Ladakh region by providing state of art facilities in different sectors to the people living there so that it comes up as a modal area of the country besides being a hub of tourist related activities.

The deputy chief minister was speaking at a function held in connection with the celebration of Losar festival organized by All Ladakh Students Association Jammu (ALSAJ) dedicated to 19th Skushok Bakula on his birth centenary here today

The deputy chief minister said that Ladakh is crown of the state and we will ensure that it comes up as one of the most sought-after destinations in whole country. He said several flag ship programs have already been undertaken for ensuring holistic development of this world-famous region in different sectors so that people living in this hilly region get all the requisite facilities needed for modern housing needs.

Deputy Chief Minister also added that they will redressed by taking them up within the country at an earliest. He said that  government is committed to provide quality education and the related facilities to the student community in general and special prison will be provided to students belonging to Ladakh region.
