Police arrests Yasin Malik again, shifts him to central jail Srinagar on judicial remand

Srinagar: Chairman Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik on Wednesday was arrested by police from JKLF office and immediately shifted to central jail Srinagar on a judicial remand.

The spokesman said Police cordoned the JKLF office at Abi Guzar and arrested JKLF chairman. It is worth to mention that JKLF district president Budgam Gulzar Ahmad Pahalwan has also been arrested by Budgam police in a nocturnal raid on his house.

Before his arrest JKLF chairman while speaking to media person said that Jammu Kashmir has been turned into a police garrison and a big jail where no one is allowed to move or speak freely.

He said that arresting people, placing them under house arrest, clamping curfews and restrictions has become the order of the day.

JKLF chairman said, “so-called rulers propagate sugarcoated slogans like ‘healing touch’, ‘battle of ideas’ and ‘no bullet but talks’ and try to deceive people by these catchphrases.”
