‘India is moving towards intolerance, time for Muslims to demand a separate country’

Srinagar: Deputy Grand Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam on Tuesday said that India is moving on the path of intolerance and Muslims of the country should demand a separate country.

Addressing a press conference in Srinagar, Islam pointed out that the second largest community of the country is being harassed on various pretexts.

“India is moving on the path of intolerance. Muslims are being harassed on the various pretexts. Sometimes they are being harassed on the pretext of love jihad, sometimes it is cow vigilantism or triple talaq,” he said.
