Jammu: Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Monday once again reiterated her call for dialogue with Pakistan in order to end the bloodshed in Kashmir.
Her statement comes at a time when militants attacked an Army Station in Jammu and a CRPF camp in the Karan Nagar area of Srinagar. The attack is still going on.
Mehbooba’s call of dialogue also comes at a time when the Line of Control is flared up amid cease fire violations between the two countries.
In a tweet, Mehbooba also stressed that she would be labelled an ‘anti-national’ by the news channels for calling dialogue between India and Pakistan.
‘However, it doesn’t matter, “she added.
Dialogue with Pakistan is necessary if we are to end bloodshed. I know I will be labelled anti-national by news anchors tonight but that doesn’t matter. The people of J&K are suffering. We have to talk because war is not an option.
