In clashes which have erupted near the gunfight site in Shopian’s Turkawangam village, four youth have been injured and one of them identified as Inayat is critical.
Reports said that youth took to the streets to clash with the armed forces and in retaliation forces fired live ammunition, pellets and teargas at the protesters near the gunfight site.
The injured have been shifted to the district hospital of Shopian. According to the hospital sources, three youth have suffered bullet injuries and one of them is critically wounded.
