Al-Umar Mujahideen rejects Ramzan ceasefire proposal

Srinagar: Rejecting the proposal for a ceasefire during the holy month of Ramazan, Al-Umar Mujahideen on Monday said that talks with India are a futile exercise  and the Kashmir issue can only be resolved through an armed struggle.

Recating to Nawaz Sharif’s remarks on Mumbai attacks, Al Umar chief Mushtaq Ahmed Zargar said that he is speaking the language of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In a tele-statement to KNS,  Zargar said that “We don’t accept the proposal of ceasefire during the month of Ramadhan and Amarnath Yatra.”

“Dialogue with India is a futile exercise and the Kashmir issue can only be resolved through armed struggle, “he said.

He said that “Till India won’t implement the UN resolutions, all talks with them are futile. We will continue our fight for freedom till Indian forces vacate from Kashmir,” Zargar said. “We will continue with our armed struggle in Kashmir until the last Indian soldier remains here,” said Zargar.

Reacting over the Nawaz Sharif’s recent statement regarding the Mumbai Attacks, Al-Umar chief said, “Sharif is speaking Modi’s language. Even as India was killing and maiming Kashmiris, Sharif at the same time was sending gifts to the PM Modi,” Zargar said.
