Around four people were injured in D. K pora village of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Monday evening in clashes which erupted between civilians and armed forces.

Hospital officials informed that one girl, Shoby Jan has bullet injury in chest and was shifted to SKIMS.

Local said that army men from a local camp had organised an Iftaar Party in the village on Monday for the villagers.

“The village committee told them not to organise the party as there were apprehensions that the said function can disturb peace in the village but they still went ahead,” said a resident of D K Pora.
