Narendra Modi congratulated chief minister Mehbooba Mufti on her birthday and prayed for her good heath and a long life.
In a tweet Modi said:
Best wishes to Jammu and Kashmir CM @MehboobaMufti on her birthday. I pray for her good health and long life.

The BJP and the PDP are in an alliance in Jammu and Kashmir.Mehbooba is an alumnus of Kashmir University’s law department, and has done her schooling from Srinagar’s Presentation Convent. She also holds bachelor’s degree in literature from Jammu Women’s College in English literature.
She was born on May 22, 1959 at her ancestral home in south Kashmir’s Bijbehara at Akhran Nowpora, before her family shifted to Nowgam Bypass in Srinagar.
Recently, during Modi’s day long Kashmir visit, Mehbooba had said that India is our country and Modi is our leader. She had reiterated that if there is anyone who can resolve the Kashmir issue, it he, given the historic mandate he has.
