The visit of Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh is not just a usual visit but part of a ‘bigger exercise which started with the announcement of the Ramzan ceasefire announced by the Modi government, the government spokesperson Naeem Akhtar had said.

“The visit of Home Minister Rajnath Singh is surely a part of a bigger exercise the Modi government has started with the announcement of unilateral ceasefire in Jammu and Kashmir. The government forces have been showing patience despite attacks on them with grenades and bullets from the other side. Home Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP president Amit Shah and BJP General Secretary Ram Madhav have in ambiguous terms extended the offer of dialogue to Joint Resistance Leadership and it is for them to respond positively to the offer of dialogue extended to it by New Delhi.”
