Srinagar: A migrant labourer who was critically injured in a shootout between militants and armed forces in Hajidarpora village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday succumbed to his injuries.
SSP Pulwama Chandan Koli confirmed the incident and said that non-local Arjun Kumar succumbed to injuries at SKIMS, Soura this afternoon.
Earlier, news agency GNS reported that that the patrolling party of army’s 55 RR was passing through Hajidarpora area of Pulwama district at 9:45 am in when militants attacked it. There was a brief exchange of fire between militants and army for sometime.
