Srinagar: Inspector General of Police, (IGP), Kashmir, S P Pani on Monday said that they have identified those behind the circulation of the videos in which killings are being carried out by militants in Shopian district of South Kashmir.
“Those who are propagating brutal killing videos have been identified and soon action will be taken against them,” he said.
He stated that the cyber domain used by militants for these “gruesome acts stand identified and they will be brought before the law.”
He further said: “These execution videos of innocent civilians in Kashmir is reflection of ‘terror’ crimes.”
Asked who was behind these killings, the IGP said that these “terror crimes” and the accused shall be brought before law. Two Kashmiri civilians were killed by unidentified gunmen last week, while a spate of abduction have taken place since then, the incidents rising to seven in number.
