For fourth time in two days, India, Pakistan exchange fire along LoC

Srinagar: For the fourth time in the last two days, armies of India and Pakistan exchanged fire along the Line of Control. This time it was in the Pooch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

On Tuesday, the two armies exchanged fire and shelled the cross-LoC military posts. Defence sources, according to reports, said that Pakistan shelled the Indian military posts and civilian areas in Poonch despite serious objections raised by the Indian Army in the recent past.

On Saturday, the two armies resorted to heavy shelling and firing along the LoC in the Mankote, Khadi Karmara and Gulpur areas. Similar incidents were reported on Thursday, Wednesday and Tuesday as well.
