An Army man, Sajad Ahmad Naikoo (alias Ashiq) was shot dead by unidentified gunmen at his home in Pinglish village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
According to reports gunmen barged into the residence of Naikoo (alias Ashiq), an army personnel, at Pinglish and fired bullets at him. He died on the spot.
Ashiq, a former Special Police Officer in Jammu and Kashmir police had joined the army recently and was posted in Srinagar. He was 25.
