On April 12th, a BJP MLA Raja Singh released a song on Ram Navami and dedicated it to the Indian Army.

However, it is a word to word copy of a song written for the Pakistani armed forces. The original song was released by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Armed Forces, on March 23rd for Pakistan Day. Singh replaced ‘Pakistan’ with ‘Hindustan’ and called it a song for the Indian army on the occasion of Ram Navmi.Below is a comparison of the copied and the original version done by a twitter user:

Singh’s musical release was immediately recognized by Pakistanis who called out the plagiarism and posted the original version.

The spokesperson of the Pakistan Army also called out to Singh from his personal twitter account:Glad that you copied. But copy to speak the truth as well. #PakistanZindabad https://t.co/lVPgRbcynQ

Ironically, Singh was in news in the past for calling the old-city area in Hyderabad as Pakistan. The BJP MLA has so far failed to delete his tweet. This story first appeared in Alt News.
