Those who support Article 370 don’t deserve Indian citizenship, says Modi

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has said that those who who say that Kashmir will secede from India if Article 370 goes don’t deserve Indian Citizenship.

“Kashmir has been a part of India since ages. Those who use such language, have no right to be Indian citizens. They have no right to contest elections, he said in an interview with Aaj Tak.

Modi added, “Article 370 and 35-A have done maximum damage to Kashmir. We set up AIIMS and IIM in Kashmir, but top professors are not ready to go there because they can’t buy property there. The rents there are very high. There is no investment in Jammu and Kashmir because investors feel they would not get land there.”

Tourism has been destroyed by terrorists and economy has been destroyed by these Articles, he stressed.

“Now people have understood that Kashmir needs a big change. They want economic activities and investment,” Modi said.
