Srinagar: A 16-year old girl was allegedly raped in Ganderbal on Tuesday and the accused has been arrested.
According to a report by the Kashmir Reader, the incident came to light after Ganderbal police arrested a youth identified as Asif Ahmad wani, son of Mohd Maqbool Wani, a resident of new Colony Harran Ganderbal on Tuesday.
Reports said the girl narrated her ordeal to her parents after which they lodged a complaint on Sunday against the accused at Ganderbal police station.
