Srinagar: National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah on Saturday said that the Government of India should come out clean regarding the Kashmir situation.
Addressing a press conference in Srinagar, the former chief minister said that Governor Satya Pal Malik’s word on the situation was not final rather it is Government of India’s word which matters.
“Governor isn’t the final word on J&K. The final word on J&K is the Govt of India.Therefore, more than what Governor tells us publicly, I definitely would like to hear from Govt of India publicly that there is nothing people have to worry about,” he said.

Omar added that on Monday when the Parliament of India starts functioning, GoI should issue a statement regarding the order which asked the Amarnath Yatris and tourists to leave the valley as soon as possible.
